“We are very satisfied with Mont-Olivet School, the teaching, the activities and the staff. We are convinced that it contributes to the personal and social development of our children and that they will be well prepared for their future.”

Stéphanie Tedeschi, mother of 3P and 5P students

“Mont-Olivet School offers a remarkable education in line with the needs of today’s world. Its extracurricular, language and sports programmes are rich and varied, but what is also important to remember is the unique human dimension of this school. There is a warm and caring family atmosphere that is palpable from the very first visit, and one could not wish for a more favourable environment for the education and development of our children.”

Nanette Ciz-Duxin, mother of 5P and 2P students

I entrusted Mont Olivet with the education of my two children since the school shared my same values and principles combined with a solid long history of Swiss education, an international aperture (pluri-lingual) with unique infrastructures (only private school in la cote with gym, cafeteria, bus transport, next to forest) and extracurricular activities. I appreciate enormously the frame, the individual follow-up of my children and the innovative approach of personal development through judo. Thank you! Proud to be part of the Mont Olivet community!

Mrs Perez, mother of 2P and 7P students

“I was not fortunate enough to grow up in an environment where guiding others exceed was important. My work and my personal success have allowed me to offer my daughter, Louise, an incredible and caring environment where she can blossom, grow, learn, play sports and become a woman with open choices much faster. Mont-Olivet is, in my opinion, the best Swiss private school in La Côte, with the added bonus of emphasising the German language, which is essential in our country. Congratulations to all, teachers, staff and management for this real devotion to learning about life.”

“When I was looking for the school for my children, I really made an effort. Now I can safely say that Mont-Olivet is almost unique. Most other private schools are oriented towards English as the main language. At Mont-Olivet, French and German, which is particularly important in Switzerland, are taught from the beginning, and of course English from the third grade. Classes are two times smaller than in conventional schools, which is very important when it comes to the children’s and personal attention from teachers. Every question, comment or hint from parents receives immediate attention, clarification and action when necessary. As a mum, I always feel taken seriously and supported by the teachers and management, and can count on their help at any time.”

Dr Nadja Mostacci, mother of 2P and 3P students

“At Mont-Olivet, your children learn in an interactive, creative and outward-looking environment. The academic standards are excellent, but what makes the school unique is the attention given to the development of their personality and confidence. Step by step, your children grow in a caring environment and are encouraged to become the best version of themselves.”

Cécile and Nicolas Vidal, parents of 4P and 6P students

“Mont-Olivet School has known how to build on our son’s strengths and has compensated for his dyslexia with the right tools. He is full of self-confidence and is looking forward to an academic and sporting career! We would like to thank the teachers, the administration and the management for their sustained and individualised work.”

Mother of a 7P student

“Our two children, aged 8 and 5, have been attending Mont-Olivet School for two years now. This school is a real paradise for younger and older students. Whether it is the teaching staff, the logistics team, or the management, all are welcoming, warm and caring, both towards the children and towards the parents. It is a place where we like to go to participate in the life of the school, in the events, and also on a daily basis just to say hello, to meet the teachers. Moreover, the children are delighted to have recently learned that they will be able to finish their schooling at this school until they obtain their Swiss Maturity Diploma, as they would not want to change for anything in the world.”

Dorothée Charpiot, mother of 1P and 5P students

“Mont-Olivet school is exactly what we were looking for, for our children. The first word that comes to mind is ‘caring’. Our children flourish in this family environment, which is geared towards their intellectual, artistic and sporting development, and always with respect for others.”

Mother of 1P and 4P students

“My two children started Mont-Olivet in the Preschool and instantly loved the school. It’s like a big family where all the teachers know all the children and they feel loved and welcome. Both the academic and sports programmes are very well thought-out and they know how to involve the children in a fun way to learn. Siblings can join together for certain activities and at certain times of the day, providing a reassuring face for the younger children and strengthening their bond. Mont-Olivet is more than just a school, it is a community that my family is proud to be a part of.”

Mrs Esteve, mother of Preschool and 2P students

“Why Mont Olivet?
For our child – because our child benefits from close and caring supervision, advanced and modern teaching, the promotion of essential values, while evolving in small classes with a wide range of choice of extracurricular activities to discover, be it sports, arts or self-development.

For us – because we were looking for a multilingual environment and a team of teachers and support professionals trained in a variety of pedagogical and educational techniques with whom it is possible to interact, which is key for us. Because instead of being in a UAPE after school, our child can do many extracurricular activities without us having to drive them in the middle of the afternoon.

So simply because we benefit from the services of a private school for our child, and at reasonable prices, with the comfort and interest of varied and evolving care throughout the day.

Mother of a 4P student

Mont-Olivet School provides us with flexibility and precious comfort by bringing together school, childcare and extracurricular activities under one roof. The schooling of our two children is therefore greatly facilitated. The very practical infrastructure and the human scale of the institution immediately appealed to us. The teachers and management are always accessible, very attentive and above all, responsive! The early learning of languages through immersion is a major asset for our children, who evolve in a multicultural environment.

Fabienne & Philippe R.

“Our son is in his third year at Mont-Olivet school, in 10th grade. Since his arrival, he has felt at ease in his class and with the teachers. We have really appreciated the “team spirit” that is encouraged between the teachers and the parents, to support the child and ensure that there are no knowledge gaps. The class size allows for an tailored and relevant follow-up. We are happy that he can continue his schooling in a setting that is so sensitive to his full development. For all this we are particularly grateful to the team of teachers.

Michela and Pascal Renaut, parents of 10S student

“Mont-Olivet school offers everything my husband and I want for our three boys at a very high level.
Our children have been taught multilingually for several years in a manageable setting which brings great security. The small classes enable our boys to make good friends and no one escapes the teacher’s attention.

The foreign languages, German and English, are taught to the children earlier and more intensively than in the Swiss public-school system, and advanced learners are encouraged, which is also very motivating for the French-speaking friends of our boys.

Contact with the teaching staff and the management is easy and direct, and a very caring secretary is on hand to help everyone, especially her little charges.

Mont-Olivet school respects our values. It values the personalities of our boys and is worth a lot to us.”

C. B., mother of 4P, 7P and 9S students

“The challenging curriculum is taught in a nurturing and wonderful environment. We attribute this to the exemplary teaching and community feel of the school. The teachers are outstanding, caring and have the best of each individual student in mind. We are delighted that our two sons will continue to thrive at Mont-Olivet. »

THE IMPORTANCE OF GERMAN FOR SUCCESS

Did you know? In Switzerland, German (68%) is the language most often used in the workplace, followed by Swiss German (60%) and French (36%). Next comes English (32%) and then Italian (9.8%). For many companies in French-speaking Switzerland, German is of primary importance. In fact, many companies’ headquarters are located in German-speaking Switzerland, or even in Germany. Moreover, Germany has been Switzerland’s most important business partner for decades. For recruitment specialists: “German is rare, it is a strong competitive advantage and is almost compulsory for positions of responsibility”.
